Year 5 have been very busy this week.

They have been finding out all about Hill Farm during the war by exploring the diaries from September 1940.

Then they’ve applied their shading skills to their final mixed media artwork.

Next up was chemical reactions, I think you’ll agree, they’ve had a very exciting week!

MICROBES!

Imagine my surprise when I found children in Year 5 wiping bread on the door handles… At least now I understand why!

Year 5 have been learning about microbes today. We are investigating the conditions that speed up the growth of mould. We then wanted to find out about microbes on surfaces around the classroom… We will report our findings next week!

Well after today’s lunchtime club, I think it is safe to say that Mrs Pinks needs to find a bigger space to hold her club.

We’ve had Lego adventures, a lesson on turn taking with Snakes and Ladders and started making our very own worry monsters!
