๐ŸŒ World Environment Day

At Inspire Education Trust, we are committed to playing our part in creating a more sustainable future.

Some of the initiatives supporting our environmental journey include installing 2,536 LED lights across our schools, investing in low-carbon technologies such as solar energy and heat pumps, improving energy monitoring systems and empowering pupils through eco projects and sustainability education.

These are just some of the ways we are working towards reducing our environmental impact while helping young people understand the importance of protecting our planet for future generations.

๐ŸŒฑ Weโ€™re proud to be taking part in across Inspire Education Trust.

Throughout May, selected areas across our schools will be left uncut to help create natural habitats for wildlife, support pollinators such as bees and butterflies and encourage greater biodiversity across our communities. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿฆ‹

Even small changes can make a big difference. Longer grass and wildflowers provide food, shelter and breeding spaces for insects, birds and other wildlife that are vital to healthy ecosystems.

This is more than just a one month initiative. We are exploring how elements of this approach could become a permanent part of our grounds management across the Trust, helping us create greener, more sustainable outdoor spaces for future generations. ๐ŸŒผ

By working together, our schools are helping pupils see the importance of caring for the environment and the positive impact we can all have through simple everyday actions.

โšฝ๐Ÿฉต Sky Blue celebrations across Inspire Education Trust ๐Ÿฉตโšฝ

It was a sea of Sky Blue across a number of our schools today as pupils and staff came together to celebrate Coventry City FC โ€™s incredible promotion and Championship title win ๐Ÿ†

With the support of our catering partners, Angel Hill Food Co, our usual Friday menu was given a brilliant Coventry City twist. Pupils enjoyed themed favourites such as โ€œJack Ru dough ni Pizzaโ€ while dining in a truly celebratory atmosphere.

Children were encouraged to wear their Sky Blue kits or colours, and they certainly delivered. From shirts and scarves to bows and even blue hair, it was fantastic to see so much pride and excitement shared across our school communities.

With the parade through the city taking place on Monday and finishing right by Hearsall Community Academy, the celebrations are set to continue.

We are so proud to be part of a city with such a strong sense of community and spirit. Wishing everyone a lovely bank holiday and a fantastic time to those heading to the parade.
