When your daughter says let's change the witches house and to use the tent, you end up with a whole host ideas!

Fingers crossed I can take the ideas from my head and make it happen so we have a new witch house for our Enchanted Village sessions.

Whilst playing in our set ups, children are developing skills without even realising.

There's so much going on beneath the play. What are some of the things they are learning when at the home corner.....

🌟 motor skills when pushing and steering the pushchairs.
🌟 development of language of everyday objects.
🌟 nurturing skills when caring for the dolls
🌟 sequencing of routines... chop vegetables --> cook --> serve on a plate

Role play teaches learning through play naturally.

There's so much more than just play!

We are hopefully going to get started on one of our biggest projects to date.

Ive got drawings and a whole mind map of ideas to transform this kitchen into something unique 🤞

I will keep you updated on it all as Rob and I work on it. (Him more so than me 😅 - its handy to have a carpenter as a husband.)

Any ideas what we could be changing this into?

THE CONSTRUCTION SITE 👷‍♂️

The construction site is always a hit with both children and dads. Our set ups are packed with role play resources designed to spark imaginations and keep them playing.

From foam bricks to tools to dress up outfits, all the details help immerse your little ones into pretend play.

Our play village's Whistle-Tot Wednesdays are back this September!

We will be visiting Kibworth and Groby and are now popping up monthly at Nanpantan.

We visit....

NANPANTAN - first Wed of the month
KIBWORTH - third Wed of the month
GROBY - last Wed of the month

There will be varied stations at each session with our October session being our Autumn specials excluding Nanpantan.

We create an imagination filled play space for you and your little one to dive into role play. Whether they wish to be a mini vet or baker or even astronaut!

One of my friends sent me a message after they saw the reel from our session and she spotted so many things I just do without even thinking.

Like how she didn't realise how much Im getting down on the floor to play. Its something I just do and would feel strange not to. I love sampling their coffees, taking care of the dolls, asking questions and getting stuck into play.

But she also spotted things I hadn't even thought about how because I'm playing it means mum can take care of the baby or play with another child or even get that time to chat with a friend.

Our sessions are not just about play even though that's a big part of it, they are also about getting someone who loves getting in your child's world and hopefully helping you along the way too.

A brand new Crack the Case is coming this Autumn!

🧙‍♀️🧙‍♀️ Someone has stolen the Witches Invisibility Potion, and there are 4 suspects who could have taken it! Search the Enchanted Play Village for clues, carry out STEM activities and enjoy some pretend play too.

Aimed at children 4 years and above, taking place at Nanpantan Scout Hut (just outside Loughborough) on Sunday 18th October.

Please note as we will be testing liquids using red cabbage indicator, there is allergy information on the booking page.

Tickets will be released on Friday 14th August.
