💚 A Heartfelt Thank You from All of Us at Little Acorns Nursery 💚

As another wonderful year comes to an end, all of the staff at Little Acorns Nursery would like to say a huge thank you for all of the beautiful gifts and thoughtful thank you cards we have received. Your kindness and generosity mean so much to us.

It has been an absolute honour and privilege to be part of your children’s early learning journey, and we are so grateful that you trusted us to care for, nurture and teach your little ones. Watching them grow in confidence, make friendships and reach new milestones has been truly special.

To all of our children who are leaving us to start their next adventure at school – we wish you the very best of luck! We know you’ll all do amazingly well, and we couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of you. 🌟

Finally, we would like to wish all of our Little Acorns families a happy, restful and enjoyable summer. We can’t wait to welcome our returning children back for another year of fun and learning.

🇬🇧⚽ Come on England! ⚽🇬🇧

What an exciting day at Little Acorns Nursery as we celebrated England reaching the World Cup Semi-Finals! 🎉

Our little ones had so much fun getting into the football spirit by making their very own England flags and showing off their best moves as we danced along to the World Cup dance! ❤️🤍💙

It’s been a wonderful way to encourage creativity, movement, and team spirit while joining in with the excitement being felt across the country.

Good luck to the England team in the semi-final – we’ll all be cheering you on! 🦁🦁🦁

🏴‍☠️👑 Ahoy there, me hearties… and Your Royal Highnesses! 👑🏴‍☠️

What a swashbuckling, sparkle-filled day we’ve had at Little Acorns Nursery! We welcomed fearless pirates, beautiful princesses, cheeky captains, magical royalty, and even a few scallywags who may have pinched all the treasure! 💰😂

The children had an amazing time hunting treasure, dancing, singing, and using their wonderful imaginations throughout the day. There were plenty of giggles, smiles, and adventures along the way!

A huge thank you to all our fantastic families for sending the children in looking absolutely amazing—we think we’ve officially got the best-dressed pirates and princesses around! ❤️

🎓✨Little Acorns Graduation! ✨🎓

Yesterday we celebrated our amazing Little Acorns as they prepare to spread their wings and begin their exciting school adventure in September.

It was such a special occasion to reflect on just how much each and every child has achieved this year. From building confidence and making new friendships to learning new skills and creating wonderful memories, we couldn’t be prouder of all they have accomplished.

We loved looking back at some of the highlights of our year together, sharing smiles, laughter and happy memories with our children and their families.

To all of our graduates – we are so proud of you! 🌟 Keep believing in yourselves, continue to be kind, curious and brave, and never stop learning. We know you will all do amazing things.

We are delighted to announce that we will be opening our brand-new Wraparound Club at Coton in the Elms this September 2026! 🌟

Providing high-quality before and after school care for children aged 2–11 years, our club will offer a safe, nurturing and fun environment where children can learn, play and thrive.

Even more exciting... OFSTED has recently visited us to carry out our registration inspection and has recommended us for registration! ✅ We are now looking forward to welcoming families as we prepare to open our doors.

Whether you need breakfast club, after-school care, we’re here to support local families with flexible, reliable childcare.

🌳🧺 National Picnic Day Fun! 🧺🌳

Today, to celebrate National Picnic Day, we took our Little Acorns to the local park for a special picnic. We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon filled with laughter, games, and lots of fun in the sunshine.

We are incredibly proud of all the children, whose behaviour was impeccable throughout the outing. They were a credit to the nursery and made the day extra special for everyone involved.

🦕🦖 Another roarsome week at Little Acorns Nursery! 🦖🦕

This week we have continued to explore our dinosaur topic through lots of exciting hands-on experiences. The children enjoyed making their own fossils using playdough and getting messy in our sensory dinosaur swamp.

We also explored a dinosaur-themed sensory tuff tray filled with sand and dinosaur bones, where the children compared length and size while developing their mathematical language and curiosity. Our dinosaur small world activity sparked plenty of imaginative play and storytelling too!

To finish the week, we had an action-packed Forest School session, incorporating our dinosaur theme into outdoor adventures and exploration. 🌿🦕🍂

What a fantastic week of discovery, creativity and fun!
