☀️ Happy Summer Holidays! ☀️

What an incredible year it’s been!

A huge well done to every one of our wonderful children. We are so proud of all that you have achieved and of the way you have embraced our school values by being unique, exceptional and sustainable every day.

Thank you to all of our families for your continued support, and to our amazing staff for their hard work, dedication and commitment throughout the year.

We hope you all have a safe, happy and relaxing summer, making lots of wonderful memories with your family and friends.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back on Thursday 3rd September for another exciting year of learning, laughter and new adventures.

Today we say goodbye to our wonderful Year 6 children.

We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved and the kind, confident and resilient young people they have become. They have been fantastic members of our school community, and we wish them every success as they begin the next chapter of their journey.

On Saturday 4th July, the CCLS Choir were invited to join the Radcliffe on Trent Men’s Voice Choir along with the Derwent Brass Band for their annual Summer Concert at the Cotgrave Welfare. Preparation began on Thursday night, when the two choirs met for the first time to rehearse in school together for the BIG day.

On Saturday evening, it was great to see the Welfare packed full. The children took to the floor with a mixture of nerves and excitement, delivering a wonderful performance that was met with a huge applause from the audience. Towards the end of the performance, the two choirs sang, “You’ll Never Walk Alone” together which was a highlight of the evening. A BIG thank you to Mr Price, Mrs Price and Mrs Ainsley for being Stewards for the night as well as all their support looking after the children.

Thank you to John Ludlam and Mr Seymour for making this concert a memorable occasion for everyone!

🎉🌈 Amazing Colour Dash Total! 🌈🎉

We are thrilled to share that our school community has raised an incredible £6,543 through the Colour Dash!
A huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated and supported the event. Your generosity will help Lifting Children’s Hopes (LCH) continue supporting disadvantaged children and young people through activities, experiences and essential support that make a real difference.
