📣 Calling all Year 4 Parents 📣

South Nottinghamshire Academy will be joining us at Cotgrave CofE Primary School for a Year 4 Information Evening to help families begin thinking about the transition to secondary school.

🗓 Wednesday 10th June
🕕 6:00pm
📍 Cotgrave CofE Primary School

The evening will include:
✨ Information about the journey to SNA
✨ A short presentation from academy staff
✨ Q&A session with SNA students and senior colleagues

A great opportunity to ask questions, gather information and support your child with the transition to secondary school. We look forward to welcoming you.

🌟 Reception 2026 – Welcome! 🌟

We would like to say a huge congratulations to all the children who have secured their place in our Reception class for September 2026! 🎉

We are really looking forward to welcoming both our new children and their families into our school community. It’s such a special time, and we can’t wait to begin this exciting journey together, watching the children grow, learn and flourish every day.

✨🎶 Back to School Disco! 🎶✨

We’re excited to announce our very first Back to School Disco, hosted by the PTA! 🕺💃
A fun evening for the children to celebrate the new school year with friends, music, and dancing.

📅 Date: 26th September
🕒 Time: 5:30pm -7:00pm
📍 Venue: School Hall

Tickets £3 per child on the door. Ticket price includes pizza, pudding and unlimited juice. Please email the school office for any dietary requirements before the 19th September!

We can’t wait to see the children having a brilliant time on the dance floor. 🥳

A heartfelt thank you from all of us at Cotgrave C of E Primary School

As we come to the end of another school year, we want to say a truly heartfelt thank you for the beautiful cards, generous gifts, and kind words we’ve received. Every message, every gesture, and every smile means more than we can say.

It’s never something we expect, but it’s always deeply appreciated and this year, as always, we’ve been completely blown away by your thoughtfulness and generosity. Thank you for taking the time to think of us, it really does lift us all.

To the children and staff who are leaving us this summer – we send you all our love and best wishes as you take your next steps. Whether you’re moving on to a new school, a new place, or just growing that little bit older you’ll always be part of our Cotgrave family.

Please remember, our door is always open. Come back and visit, tell us how you’re getting on, and know you’ll always be welcome here.

🎤✨ Our Annual Talent Show – What a Performance! ✨🎤

One of the highlights of our school year, the Annual Talent Show, did not disappoint! From Reception to Year 6, our talented pupils wowed the audience with their amazing skills.

We were dazzled by magicians, blown away by the brilliant boy band, dancers, and treated to a whole host of fantastic performances. The creativity, courage, and confidence on stage was truly inspiring!

✨ A Night to Remember ✨

Last night, our incredible Year 6 pupils danced, sang, laughed, and sparkled their way through a prom night filled with joy, pride and a few happy tears (from the Mums!) 💫

It was a truly special evening to celebrate a very special group of children, each one of them has grown in confidence, kindness, and resilience during their time at our school. We couldn’t be prouder of the young people they are becoming.

To our Year 6 leavers: thank you for the memories, the laughter, and the legacy you leave behind. You’ve made your mark on our school, and you will be missed more than you know.

As you move on to your next chapter, know that you carry with you all the love and belief of your school family. The future is bright – and it’s yours for the taking. 🌟
