🌟 Welcome Back, Costessey Primary School! 🌟

Today, we were delighted to welcome our children back for the start of a brand-new school year! 😊

Our classrooms are ready, our staff are excited, and we can't wait to see all the learning, achievements and memories that will be made over the coming months.

A special welcome goes to all of our new pupils and families joining the Costessey community this year. We hope you have had a wonderful first day and are already feeling part of our school family.

Thank you to parents and carers for helping the children arrive ready to learn and for your ongoing support. Together, we look forward to making this a fantastic year filled with success, friendship and fun.

Looking for ways to keep the children entertained over the summer holidays?

The Government's Great British Summer Savings scheme is running until 1 September and includes discounts on:

🎬 Cinema, theatre and family attraction tickets
🎡 Admission to many attractions across the UK
🚌 FREE bus travel throughout August for children aged 5–15 in England

Our final newsletter of the school year is now available!

As we come to the end of what has been a significant term for Costessey Primary School, I wanted to take the opportunity to thank all of our families for your continued support. Since becoming Acting Headteacher in May, I have been overwhelmed by the kindness, honesty and encouragement shown by our community.

We are incredibly proud of what has been achieved already and excited for everything that lies ahead.

Thank you for being part of the Costessey community. I hope you enjoy reading our final newsletter of the year, and I wish you all a wonderful, well-deserved summer break.

🚲 Costessey Summer Adventures are here! ☀️

This summer, we're excited to launch Costessey Summer Adventures, a brand-new initiative to help our families get outdoors, stay active and explore together.

Thanks to Mr Hill, families can borrow one of our school bikes over the summer holidays and head off on their own adventure!

Each family will receive a Summer Adventure Card packed with fun ideas, from visiting the beach and riding through the woods to spotting a rainbow or finding a duck. We'd love you to share your adventures with us along the way!

Throughout the summer we'll be celebrating some of our favourite adventures on our page, and you might even feature in our September newsletter or on our "Where Did Our Bikes Go?" display in school!

🌟 SENFest Showcase 🌟

What an incredible way to begin our very first SENFest! 💙

Our amazing children took to the stage with confidence, courage and huge smiles, showcasing their unique talents for family and friends. From a beautiful song performed with sign language, to football skills, gymnastics routines, dance performances, fascinating dinosaur facts, flute playing and so much more!

We couldn't be prouder of every single performer. Thank you to our wonderful children for your bravery, enthusiasm and talent, and to our amazing staff who helped make the showcase such a special celebration of every child's strengths and what makes them so incredible! ✨
