Creating some fun lucky dip games for the brain game section of lessons for under 11's. They will get folded in a pot for children to pick out one per lesson.😀

Christmas singing brain games( rhythm work) and Vocal exploration cards( fun way to warm up whole range of voice). The little ones are really enjoying these.🎄

Getting ready for a musical theatre grade 3 recorded exam in the teaching room this morning.🥳 🎤

Busy laminating posters today. These will be used in an interactive way in lessons.😀

Off to support my Pupil L who is doing her Initial exam with Trinity today. You will be amazing.

What do I spend my time doing when I'm not teaching an actual lesson? I'm still working because my work is also my passion.

: Printing off lovely new materials for lessons
: Researching and learning new songs
: Planning lessons
: Watching performances and reading
: Lamainating activities and games
: Uploading exam entries
: Researching performance opportunities
: Business administration (My least favourite but very necessary)
: Planning posts and social media
: Practice applying vocal coordinations into my own singing so I can demonstrate them effectively in lessons.
: Reflect on my commitment to inclusive music education and continue to take courses and learn.

Teaching Highlight.

An adult pupil wanted to work on improving her expression of SPOKEN voice and build her confidence in speaking in public. We have been working on inflection, phrasing and shaping and finding the energy in the text. We have been working on these beautiful pieces and I am really enjoying hearing the voice grow.❤
