๐ฆ ๐ฆFox Class have had a brilliant time exploring the prehistoric world of dinosaurs! The children have turned into absolute experts, learning all about different types of dinosaurs and how they used to live.
Weโve been putting our fine motor skills to the test, using our excellent scissor skills to carefully cut and label our dinosaur worksheets.
Learning didn't stop there! Over at our imagination table, the children have been using small world play to bring their own dinosaur adventures to life.

๐ซ Turner Class had the most amazing trip to Cadbury World! We learned all about the fascinating Mayan civilisation, including when the Maya lived and what else was happening around the world during that time.
We also discovered how diverse Mayan society was, with people taking on many different roles such as farmers, traders, craftspeople, priests and rulers.
There was so much to see and do throughout the day. We enjoyed the exciting 4D cinema experience, where it felt like we were part of the action, and we had great fun on the Cadbury World ride. We learned about the history of chocolate and how Cadbury grew from a small business into a famous chocolate company.
One of the highlights was tasting delicious chocolate and finding out how it is made.
The visit also included time in the Cadbury shop, where we could look at all the tempting treats and souvenirs.
The coach journey was full of excitement and anticipation, and everyone enjoyed spending time together with friends. To make the day even sweeter, we each received three free chocolate bars!
It was a fantastic educational visit that combined learning, fun and, of course, lots of chocolate. Turner Class had a wonderful time and made memories that will last a long time.

๐ Have you spotted our Regis sheep, Baa-bara? ๐ฆ
We are absolutely thrilled to see our school sheep, Baa-bara, proudly displayed on the stone plinth at the Cross Keys junction on the A4!
As part of Corsham's rotating community art project, which celebrates the town's rich heritage as a historic wool town, our sheep showcases a unique design celebrating Corsham's famous peacocks.
A massive thank you to our incredibly talented parent who helped bring this peacock-inspired design to life, alongside wonderful contributions from all of our children and staff. This was a true team effort from the whole Regis family! โค๏ธโจ
Be sure to give Baa-bra a wave next time you drive or walk past! ๐๐

๐ Mason Class WOW Day: Lighthouse! โจ
Our design brief was to create a model of a lighthouse before they became automated. Our lighthouse was inspired by the book โHello Lighthouseโ by Sophie Blackall.
We identified that a wider base would make a lighthouse strong and the red and white stripes could be seen from afar by sailors. We also added a lightning rod. We used hinges, glue and tape to join materials and used our knowledge of how to build a circuit to help us to add a working light.
What a wonderful day full of creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on learning. Fantastic work, Mason Classโyou are absolute superstars! ๐๐

๐ ๐จIt is always a wonderful day when our amazing volunteer, Mrs Gilkes, visits us at Corsham Regis!
Yesterday, she spent time working with the children in Dickens Class to paint some truly beautiful, bright fish that the children had made from clay as part of our Animals topic.
Once finished, we will be designing special environments for all our aquatic friends to "live" in.

Today is National Receptionist Day, a day dedicated to acknowledging the incredible hard work and dedication of receptionists everywhere.
At Corsham Regis, we want to say a massive thank you to our very own superstar, Mrs Evans! ๐ซ
As the first point of contact for our parents and visitors, Mrs Evans is the friendly face and welcoming voice that keeps our school running smoothly every single day. Whether sheโs answering the phones, working in the office, helping a child, or supporting our families, she does it all with such care and professionalism.
Thank you, Mrs Evans, for everything you do for our school community. We truly appreciate you! ๐๐
