Resources don't always need to be expensive and aesthetically pleasing to create learning and play for children!

Today the children spent ages playing with this cardboard tray we were about to put into recycling♻️

Last week the children got very creative with the Duplo! At first they built a multistory garage which then got attacked by dinosaurs and eventually turned into a dinosaur hospital with a big car park!😂🦖🚗 🏥

This created a whole afternoon of play🧡 It's lovely to watch and join in with the children's free play and observe their imagination come to life🥰✨

On yesterday's walk the children were trying to work out why the bark had come off the tree🤔 Good thing we bought the magnifying glasses to investigate!!🔎

They came to the conclusion that the woodlice had been naughty and ripped it off!

The children have been busy in the kitchen this week☀️👩🏻‍🍳

Yesterday the children got very creative with some painting while listening to Bob Marley to get the inspiration flowing🎨👩🏻‍🎨🫟🎶

We had a lovely sunny visit into Corsham high street this morning☀️🦚

We stopped off at the local book shop and explored various charity shops where we managed to find some resources for the setting, before stopping off at the café for a drink and snack📖☕ We then popped into a couple more shops where the children spent some pocket money they had bought in, they decided on a magazine before getting the bus home (which is always a treat for them!)🚌

The children were very pleased to see so many peacocks roaming around too🦚✨

Today's adventure to the stream! On our walk there we managed to spot a heron and some ducks!🦆

The children enjoyed throwing rocks and sticks into the stream to make a big splash💦

We had lots of fun exploring the woods and down by the lake yesterday!🌲🌳💦
