What a fantastic day celebrating Brighton Pride! 🏳️‍🌈

Members of the Ashfield team were proud to join more than 100 people from across the Adult Social Care sector to march together at Brighton Pride 2026, as part of the The Outstanding Society Diversity Forum’s celebration of diversity, inclusion and belonging.

It was brilliant to stand alongside people who draw on care and support services, colleagues and partners from across the sector, all coming together to celebrate Pride and show our support for the LGBTQ+ community.

The atmosphere was incredible, with fantastic support from the crowds and a real sense of community throughout the day.

A huge thank you to the Outstanding Diversity Forum for bringing everyone together and giving us the opportunity to be part of such a memorable celebration.

We’re proud to have represented Ashfield and to have celebrated alongside so many wonderful people from across Adult Social Care. 💜

One year ago, we set ourselves a simple challenge.

If we were going to deliver Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training, we were going to do it properly.

Over the past year, we've invested in people, built a national team of Facilitators and Experts by Experience, strengthened our leadership, and recently achieved Skills for Care Quality Assured status.

But for us, this has never been about simply delivering a course.

Anyone can deliver a course. What matters is what happens before & afterwards. At Ashfield Services, we believe quality is measured by the confidence learners take back into practice, the support our trainers & clients continue to receive, and the positive difference that training makes long after the classroom has ended.

As Matthew Attfield reflects in his article, quality isn't something that happens on the day of delivery. It's built through the people you recruit, the support you provide behind the scenes, and the standards you refuse to compromise on.
