Some of our preschool children have recently been exploring our bikes

In some of our past training days we've learnt all about children's vestibular systems and how by simply providing opportunities to move in a wide variety of ways we are getting children prepared for the journey to school and beyond.
Developing balance, core stability and the ability to work across the midline of your body has such an important impact on things like emotional regulation, coordination, speech and processing of information.

Good afternoon,

We just wanted to keep parents updated. As you may be aware, there is currently a fire at the recycling plant on Gretton Brook Road, which is causing a large cloud of black smoke over parts of Corby.

We have been in communication with the Fire Brigade, who have advised us to keep the children indoors with all windows closed. We have followed this guidance and will continue to monitor the situation closely.

We will keep parents updated should there be any further developments.

Recently in Discovery's art cabin, Abby wanted to see what the children would do with a large piece of clay, allowing curiosity, independence and creativity. Firstly, a small group of children helped her gather sticks and leaves to place into the clay, she then watched to see what the children would do. Some used their hands to feel, sticks were used to poke and two children used their shoe and observed their footprint. All children showed high fascination with the clay and we look forward to observing their investigation of the clay.

Congratulations to our wonderful Hannah who has passed her Level 2 Qualification with a distinction. Hannah we are so proud of you!

My Mummy Children in the art studio were showing an interest in themselves, how they look, and how all people in the world are different. We started by focusing on our self-portraits and portraits of someone we love. We created paintings of ourselves and our mummies and our idols with a lot of passion.
