This week is a busy one with Valentines Day and Pancake Day x So we have set our activity table up to cover both as we have children attending different days . We will cover fine motor skills , colours , shapes , kindness and much more.

We love having nature on our doorstep x

This week we have been having lots of fun exploring the wildlife and nature around us . We have been on nature walks, made pictures with things we’ve found on our walks. Scratch art pictures, painting, wild art- realising you don’t need just paper and crayons to create masterpiece. As well as observing so much wildlife close to us from Cormorants to Koi carps (photos not very good- but we saw 4 x) . The children seemed to have enjoyed the week x

A walk to see the swans and ducks and we have new visitors to the area - Cormorants - well it’s been a while since we last saw some at the lakes xx

This week we had transports for our theme x The children decorated rocks, made helicopters , we made paper aeroplanes and took them to a local field and flew them around. We have had cars , trucks to play with, books to read, drawing resources and singing songs x another fun week x

Week one of the summer holidays x A lovely week making crafts for our Under the sea theme x we also visited our local lakes to see the swans and even caught a glimpse of a Koi Carp. We have visited our local park and have had lots of fun x

Love our nature walks x never tire of this being on our doorstep x Afterwards a trip to the park which is a win with everyone xx

A fun morning exploring the local area then play at the local park xx We saw lots. We talked about the bugs , birds and fish we saw and what shapes the clouds made x lots of singing as we went xx

A lovely morning picking strawberries x the children had lots of fun . Strawberries and scones for afternoon snack x

We are so lucky to have this right on our doorstep xx
