📢💊 Important Medication Information for the New Academic Year 💊📢

🔔 Please note: All medication currently held in school, including inhalers, creams, EpiPens and other prescribed medicines, will be sent home with children on Friday.

Any medication required in school for the new academic can be signed in on the following dates/times below - these are teacher training dates and we would love as many of you as possible to bring medications in on these days:

📅 Tuesday 1st September
📅 Wednesday 2nd September
🕐 1:00pm – 3:00pm

During these sessions, you will be able to:
✅ Complete new medication forms for the 2026–2027 academic year
✅ Hand medication directly to staff
✅ Update us on any changes to your child’s medical needs

Thank you for your support in helping us keep our children safe and ensuring all medication records are accurate for the start of the new school year.

Staff and their family members have been working hard today in our Wellbeing Garden 🪴👨‍🌾🪏. They have been watering, digging, pruning and planting 🌸🌻🌼.

Our guinea pigs Marshmallow and Buttons have some new vegetables growing ready for the autumn term 🥦🥒🥬.

The garden is a quiet calm space for all staff and children to work in, eat, relax and enjoy 🧘🧘‍♂️.

Dynamos cricket came to an end last night. 10 weeks of cricket at S&L and a fantastic representation from all the our Beanfield children that took part 🏏🏏🏏 well done Team Beanfield.

We said goodbye to our amazing Year 6 children today. We are so proud of them all and wish them every success as they begin their next adventure. They will always be part of our Beanfield family. 💙

As we reach the end of the summer term, we would like to thank our wonderful staff, children and families for all of their hard work and support throughout the year.

We wish everyone a safe, happy and relaxing summer break, and we look forward to welcoming you all back in September for another fantastic year.

Year 3 have been experimenting with using natural materials to create beautiful artwork. They made their own paints using items they found in nature, as well as spices, fruits and vegetables, before using them to create their own unique images.

We think they did an absolutely amazing job! We are so proud of their creativity, curiosity and enthusiasm throughout this hands-on learning experience.

In Nursery we really enjoyed bringing our teddy bears and soft toys into Nursery for a teddy bear's
Picnic snack. We enjoyed some food and then sang some songs & played games with our toys. It was lots of fun as an end of Nursery activity !

A huge thanks to Miss Coombes and her family for welcoming Marshmallow and Buttons to their home for the summer ☀️. They have settled in nicely 🐹🐹.

Year 6 had the best afternoon on the field this afternoon at their Beanfest end of year celebration all fundraised for by themselves. Face paint, hot dogs, bouncy castles and ice cream - a perfect way to finish their primary school journey!

Our lovely Ruth is retiring from the Extended Provision. We wish her all the best and will miss her very much!
