One of our parents, Reka kindly visited us from Daisy First Aid to talk to the children about what to do in an emergency situation and for first aid!

The children were invited to take part in using the inflatable mobile phone to call 999 and Reka then talked about what information we need to give to the person that answers the call.

The children were also given some scenarios and asked to decide if they were ‘an emergency’ or ‘not an emergency’ and did really well with answering, demonstrating an awareness of these.

This was a really good opportunity to raise children’s awareness of the importance of knowing what to do in the event of an emergency, they all found it really interesting and helpful and have been rewarded with a certificate of attendance 😊
