I’m not here to teach you one brand and tell you it’s the only way to do nails.

I’m a Nail Educator with years of hands-on industry experience, and I’ve worked with more products and brands than I could probably remember! 😂

Some I've loved. Some I've definitely NOT loved. And some are tried-and-tested systems I still come back to years later.

When you train in nails, you learn different systems and how they work. But once you’re actually working in the industry, most techs naturally find they prefer one or two systems they feel most confident with.

That’s completely normal.

And that’s exactly why I offer Refresher & Conversion Training at Nail It Red.

“Sorry, I don’t infill another nail tech’s product.”

But are you potentially turning away your next regular client? 👀

I've infilled acrylic with gel, gel with acrylic and used my own builder products over existing systems many times. Is it my ideal scenario? No 😂 — half the time clients don't even know exactly what's on their nails!

The important bit? Assess first. If the existing enhancement is sound, compatible and you're happy to work over it, concentrate on excellent regrowth prep, adhesion and correct structure. If you don't know what you're dealing with or there are signs of lifting, damage or a contraindication — remove or say no.

And this is exactly why consultations, disclaimers AND good training matter.
