Tomorrow is World Mental Health Day! 🌍💚 At CFS, we know that looking after our minds is just as important as looking after our bodies.
Whether it's taking a deep breath before a tricky activity, chatting with a friend at lunch, or checking in on someone who looks quiet—small moments of kindness matter. Remember, it is totally okay to not be okay, and support is always here.

Year 3 have been making Stone Age games in English, in preparation for their instruction writing. We love making links across the curriculum!

The sun came out just for the Corbridge Village Show today and there was so much to celebrate. It was wonderful to see so many entries from our children and so many certificates! I know we are going to have lots of proud children showing them off in Celebration Worship on Friday! Here is a small selection of the winners. We always feel very honoured to take part in the show and keep such an important tradition going in our community. Thank you to all of the organisers ☀️

Amazing news from our neighbours! Pop along on Monday to see the beautiful new space 🌈

✨ A NEW CHAPTER FOR CORBRIDGE PRESCHOOL… ✨

We’re very excited to finally share some big news!

Corbridge Preschool is becoming…
🌿 CORBRIDGE EARLY STEPS 🌿

Our new name marks an exciting new chapter as we extend our provision to welcome children from just 6 months old, giving families the opportunity to begin their childcare journey with us even earlier. 💛

While our name is changing and our provision is growing, the things that matter most remain the same — our caring team, nurturing environment and commitment to giving every child the very best start.

🎉 COME AND SEE WHAT’S NEW!

We’d love to welcome families, old and new, to our Open Day:

📅 Monday 24th August
🕙 10am – 12pm

Come along, meet our team, explore our setting and find out more about places at Corbridge Early Steps, including our brand-new provision for babies and younger children.

🌱 Little steps. Big beginnings.
Welcome to Corbridge Early Steps. 💛

Please share and help us spread the word! ✨

Our Summer Roller Disco was a huge success today! There were so many smiles, some awesome moves and lots of fun and games. Thanks to everyone who came along to support the event!

Thank you, also, to Ingram AV for their support this year with music and lights. None of this would be possible without you!

Our Year 2 children amaze us every day but this week they have been particularly amazing! They have smashed their SATs and shown resilience and determination to be the best they can be.

Miss Baxter is loving her Forest School sessions with Year 3! This week, they used the letter stamps to decorated their creations and brought their Roman Army learning to life through imaginative play. Can we also take a moment to appreciate how beautiful our wildflowers are looking?
