Our travels have come to an end but the memories we have made will last a lifetime 🟢⚫️✨

Our HTC to Zambia group have all now made it home safely and we are very thankful to all those involved with Spirit of Paul Mc Girr who made this trip possible. We would also like to thank all of the parents, students, staff, family and friends who helped with organising, fundraising and planning of our trip we are forever grateful.

During our time away we were very busy; we built handball walls, netball/basketball/volleyball courts, taught Gaelic football, hurling, jiving and handball to all of the pupils in the SMA Tyrone school of Zambia. We took part in their local sports day which was an honour to be asked, we visited a range of local schools and an orphanage and provided much needed supplies and support wherever we could.

The experiences we have gained have been incredible and safe to say Zambia has a special place in all of our hearts now. 💚🖤🇿🇲

Another busy few days for our group 🇿🇲🇮🇪

Our trip to date has been one for the memory books. It’s been a pleasure to be able to help out and to have been welcomed with open arms by everyone we have met so far here in Zambia.

We have had a busy few days 🇿🇲🇮🇪

Take a look at all the fun and progress we have made with the basketball/netball courts, handball wall and volleyball court. ⚽️🏀

We also have been busy coaching hurling, jiving and football to the local schools.

It has been a very fulfilling experience so far with lots more to come.

Our first full day complete ✅

We started the morning working over at the SMA Tyrone Secondary School to get their basketball, handball and volleyball courts marked out and painted.

Then we headed to Paddy’s Day in Lusaka and taught Gaelic football before taking part in their GAA Tournament. 🇮🇪🇿🇲

A great day was had by all, keep following for more updates to come ⚫️🟢

An exciting morning at Holy Trinity College Cookstown today as we set of on our journey to Zambia. It was an early start but lots of excited faces, follow along to stay updated with our journey ⚫️🟢

‼️A huge thank you to Holy Trinity Parish, Holy Trinity Primary School and Drummullan Primary School‼️

Who have kindly donated a set of Amazon Tablets which will be donated to the secondary school in Lusaka.🇿🇲

This is an incredible donation and will be very beneficial for the pupils in Lusaka.
