Many thanks to Ravendale Foods for their kind donation of £100 towards our gardening club and rainwater harvesting system.

A message from them-
Ravendale Foods is a family-run business based on Leadgate Industrial Estate, near Consett. We produce meat products such as sausages, burgers, and minced and diced meat. We supply our food to lots of different customers, from local people through our factory shop to cafés, pubs, and food businesses across the UK. We are pleased to support the gardening club at Ebchester Primary School. It is wonderful to see children out in the garden, learning where their food comes from and how it is grown and made.

On Thursday, Year 5 and 6 took part in a Tag Rugby taster session led by one of the teachers from Consett Academy. All children worked very hard even in the heat and enjoyed a glimpse of what PE will be like in secondary school!🏈

As part of our RE unit 'What Would Jesus Do?' Year 5 and 6 have been learning about how some Christians can use bracelets to remind them of Jesus’ teachings and how to live them out in everyday life. The children designed and made their own WWJD bracelets, thinking carefully about ways they can show kindness, forgiveness, compassion and respect to others. ✝️
