The children have been busy strengthening their pencil control through a range of fun mark-making and early writing activities. From careful lines and shapes to adding their own creative details, it’s been lovely to see their skills growing 🌟

We’ve also been focusing on concentration, encouraging the children to stay engaged, take their time and feel proud of their efforts.

🌟 Active Learning Through Play! 🌟

The children have been busy developing their physical skills in lots of exciting ways! From balancing along equipment and crawling through spaces, to exploring large-scale mark making with big movements and creativity 🎨

These activities help to build strength, coordination and confidence, while also supporting early writing skills as children use their whole bodies to make marks.

It’s been wonderful to see their determination, focus and pride in what they can achieve 💪✨

🌈 Parachute Play Fun! 🌈

The children had a fantastic time exploring our colourful parachute! From making waves and bouncing balls to running underneath as it floated down, there were smiles and laughter all around.

Parachute play is a great way to support gross motor skills, teamwork, and listening skills as the children work together and follow simple instructions. It also encourages confidence and social interaction in a fun, active way.

We loved watching their excitement as the parachute lifted high into the air and gently floated back down! 💫

The children have had a fantastic time exploring their gross motor skills this week! 🌟

They enjoyed using the hurdles to jump, balance, and build their coordination, showing great confidence and determination. We also introduced a scrabble net activity, encouraging the children to stretch, reach, and move in different ways while having lots of fun.

These activities help support strength, balance, and overall physical development — all while learning through play! 💪😊

Our young explorers have been busy discovering the wonders of the natural world! 🐞🌿

Today we went on a mini beast hunt, searching for ladybirds and other tiny creatures hiding in the grass and under leaves. The children were so excited to spot different insects and talked about what they found along the way.
