Star Tykes Child Care My name is Rebecca and I run Star Tykes Child Care. I am a CIW registered Childminder based in Shotton, Wales. I have Full & Part Time Spaces available.

My name is Rebecca and at Star Tykes Child Care I aim to provide a caring, secure and friendly home where I will encourage children to develop their physical, social and emotional skills and will encourage the children to be respectful of others, share, use good manners and have fun whilst learning through my practices with Educational Entertainment ('Edu-tainment'.) I am a registered Child-minder

with the Care and Social Services Inspectorate for Wales (CSSIW) and will care for no more than 10 children up to the age of 12 years old. No more than 3 of the 10 will be under full time school age and no more than 3 will be under 18months including my own child. I can also cater for older children (8+ years) after school and in school holidays. Care is available both Full Time and Part Time. I can also cater for school holidays and after school hours. I can also accommodate half days (5 hours) at a reduced rate although availability depends on current numbers and arrangements.

That's all folks! My final goodbye today was From Oscar and Matilda. They were my first mindees after my short break and remained with me for over 3 years. I have watched Oscar grown into a loving, polite, incredibly clever young man and Matilda has blossomed from a tiny baby who had just begun walking to a wonderful Princess about to start full time school. It is amazing how much you grow to love the children you care for and you never ever really say goodbye.
Thank you to everyone who has been so amazing over the years and now I start my journey elsewhere. Its a scary moment of the unknown but I will take it with both hands and run.
