The Herdwick Experience made another appearance on the show today!

It was a repeat, but we’re always chuffed to see our gorgeous Herdwicks (and Yew Tree Farm!) popping up on the telly.

𝙁𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙮 𝙟𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙠? 🐑

We're looking for an animal-loving volunteer to help care for our Herdwick ‘ambassador flock’ here at The Herdwick Experience, Yew Tree Farm in Coniston.

You'd be:
· Checking on the sheep 2-3 times a week for about an hour
· Topping up hay & feed
· Keeping an eye on their health and wellbeing

We need someone who:
💚 Lives within easy reach of Coniston
💚 Has some animal care experience
💚 Is happy working independently

Starting September, with full support while you settle in.

Meet the newest members of the Herdwick Ambassador family… Beatrix & Gwen! 🐑🤍

These two lovely ladies have just joined the flock and are settling into life in the Lake District.

At the moment, they’re both carrying a few extra pounds (aren’t we all sometimes! 😄) as, until now, they’ve only ever known flat, grassy fields. So their native steep fells and rocky terrain are a whole new adventure!

They’re quite literally finding their feet, but it won’t be long before all that climbing and exploring helps them slim down, tone up and become true fell sheep. 💚
