Amazing idea! Sign up to be part of it 😊

I’m excited to share news of a personal project close to my heart.

Did you know that there are real and measurable physical and mental benefits to intergenerational social contact for both children and older people? Studies have shown that this kind of social contact has the potential to improve physical activity and help reduce loneliness for older people, while also developing confidence and communication skills in children.

Starting at 3:30pm on Tuesday 6th October and then on the first Tuesday of each month, I will be holding a free intergenerational class, bringing babies, parents, caregivers and care home residents together for positive social interaction at Elworth Grange Care Home, near Sandbach.

The first class will be with babies, but I’m hoping to also hold a toddler class in the future.

Although the classes are free, due to the limited number of spaces you must sign up in advance. Find the appropriate class by clicking on my booking link and then selecting “Tue”.

Can’t wait to see you there!
