The Nursery

This week our theme has been water safety alongside holidays. We have been busy playing outside in the sandpit,aeroplane spotting, obstacle courses and plenty of water play. 🪁🪣☀️✈️We hope you have a lovely weekend and we will see you all next week.

This week our focus has been ‘science week’ all the children have enjoyed taking part in a different science experiments 🧪
We have also enjoyed jumping in muddy puddles 💦creating different sound using musical instrument and sticks aswell as circle and parachute games 😊

This week we our focus has been ‘holidays’ 🌞🍦🪁 we have talked about different kinds of holidays as well as different ways of travelling ✈️ 🚆 🚙 we have enjoyed role playing “ice cream van” using playdough, we have also been busy getting messy in the tuff tray 🧊 splashing in puddles, mark making and working hard as a team to complete floor jigsaws

We are creating a “Where have we been in the world?” display. We would love to see pictures from our families holidays and adventures!

We have made the most of the hot weather this week with lots of water play in different forms,bubbles and outside snack. Our theme this week has been sun safety talking about how we can keep ourselves safe whilst enjoying the sun. We have also enjoyed making our snack of beetroot brownies.
