A huge congratulations to our Year 11 pupils on their amazing set of GCSE results! They worked incredibly hard, dedicated themselves and used the resources they had made available to them. Thank you also to our staff for their hard work and support of our pupils, and to the continued support from our pupils’ families too. It takes a village… a whole community! We wish our Year 11s the very best of luck in their next steps!

This afternoon approximately 1400 pupils walked a slightly shorter 5k route (due to the weather) to raise money for international causes. The pupils walked really well and were greeted by our CVC FRIENDS Trust Fund with lollies to raise money for our school trust fund which helps support all manner of events and resources in our school. It was a great to see so many walking!

Day 4 was packed with fun! 🌞🍓💃🚤

We started at a real Spanish food market, trying all kinds of goodies. Then we had a great time at the Imagination Museum before enjoying our first taste of the famous paella — a dish we had learned about at school!

We also immersed ourselves in Spanish culture with a fantastic Flamenco show and ended the day with a boat trip, where we captured some amazing photos. Another unforgettable day in Spain! 📸✨

Day 3 was another sunshine-filled adventure! 🦋🏰☀️

We started the day in Benalmádena visiting the Butterfly Park, then explored the beautiful Castillo de Colomares. After lunch, we headed to the beach to relax and soak up the Mediterranean sunshine.

Today our Battlefields pupils visited Heilly Station Cemetary to see the final resting places of the relatives of 2 of our pupils, and then they visited the Newfoundland Memorial! It’s been another moving day for our pupils.
