🥰 Welcome Back! 🥰

As we begin a new school year, we warmly welcome all our children and families back after the summer break. We are also delighted to welcome those families who are starting their journey with us in CPS. A new school year brings a wonderful sense of excitement, curiosity and possibility as we look forward to new friendships, new experiences and new opportunities to grow.

Our school is a place where every child is encouraged to feel safe, valued and confident. Through nurture, encouragement and kindness, we will support each child to discover their strengths, develop their confidence and embrace every opportunity to learn. Together, with our families, we will create a positive and inspiring environment where children can flourish, make memories and enjoy the journey of learning.

Here’s to a fantastic year ahead, filled with laughter, discovery, friendship and success.

👩‍🎨 Have you spotted our lovely artwork in The Square?! If not, make sure to stop by and have a look before they disappear at the end of the Summer.

🌺 These are all our entries promoting Comber In Bloom & some are displayed on lampposts around the town too.

👏 Thank you to Fiona from Signlines for such a super idea and letting us be involved.

🌟 We are so proud of these six incredible girls who are heading to Dublin next week to represent Team Northern Ireland at the Dance World Cup with their dance schools. 💚 🤍

An amazing achievement and so well deserved after their hard work, dedication and obvious talent. Wishing you all the very best of luck—we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way! ✨🏆

🌺 Have you seen some of our fabulous artwork up around the town?! Some of our classes took part in the Comber in Bloom art competition run by Comber Chamber of Commerce. Signlines then made some of the winning entries into beautiful banners to go up around the town.

🖼️ Here are a few of our fabulous winning entries. There will also be special events happening in the Square for 6 Saturdays commencing 18th July, in which all the artwork entered will be displayed.

💛 After a fabulous year of properly revamping our house system in CPS, Enler were announced as the winner of this year’s house competition.

🏆 We had colouring competitions, sports days, minute to win it, house points given for great work, behaviour, manners and so much more.

🥰 A massive well done to all P1-7 children in Enler. You get to be the first house on our fabulous new shield!

🏉 P6 students made a superb impact on the Regent House Rugby Competition, winning 3 out of 4 games and impressing the adults watching with their great behaviour and manners!

P7 RESIDENTIAL 🛶

P7 had a fantastic time on their residential to the Share Centre in Fermanagh.

We were so impressed by how willing the children were to give all the activities a go!

Thank you to the Share instructors and our own staff for helping to make wonderful memories for the children as they come to the end of their time with us at Comber Primary.

Girls' Football ⚽️

Congratulations to our Girls' Football team who finished as semi-finalists in today's Ards and North Down Borough Council tournament.

A special mention to one of our P6 girls who was voted as Player of the Tournament! 🏆

🌟 Parents and friends of our Musical Theatre Club were invited to a performance of Beauty and the Beast yesterday afternoon.

🎶 The girls have been working so hard every Friday after school on this production since Easter and it was simply fabulous.

🥰 The costumes, acting, dancing and singing were outstanding and nothing short of what you would see on a west end stage. A massive thank you to Mrs Greene for the time and effort she puts into this and look out for this club starting up again in September for P4-7.
