🌟 Parents and friends of our Musical Theatre Club were invited to a performance of Beauty and the Beast yesterday afternoon.
🎶 The girls have been working so hard every Friday after school on this production since Easter and it was simply fabulous.
🥰 The costumes, acting, dancing and singing were outstanding and nothing short of what you would see on a west end stage. A massive thank you to Mrs Greene for the time and effort she puts into this and look out for this club starting up again in September for P4-7.

P7 Movin' On Up!
P7 had a great morning with James from the Net as he helped them prepare for the big move to secondary education.
Many thanks to James for delivering the programme. The children got a lot out of the sessions and are looking forward to Year 8 at their new schools.

🥰 Thank you to all our volunteers, staff, pupils, and families who helped make the evening such a success.

💙 We’d like to share this as it may be useful and of interest to some of our parents. We live in such a challenging digital world and these mini webinars may provide some useful tips for helping our children and ourselves navigate this world.
Supporting children online can feel challenging, especially as the digital world continues to change.
To help families support children and young people online the Safeguarding Board for Northern Ireland have made a series of short online safety mini webinars available, with topics covering privacy settings, group chats and peer pressure, online bullying, image sharing, harmful content and online grooming.
Each session is around 15-20 minutes long, easy to follow, and includes tips, conversation starters and signposting to further support.

⚽️ Girls' Football ⚽️
Our Girls' Football team enjoyed an afternoon at Moneyrea Primary School and Nursery for their annual football tournament.
There was plenty of skill on show and the girls did us proud with 3 wins, 1 draw and 2 defeats in the group.
Many thanks to Miss Daly and Moneyrea PS for organising and hosting a most enjoyable afternoon for the girls.

🏐 Football wasn’t the only sport in action for CPS yesterday. Our Netball Squad were playing at Moneyrea Primary School’s annual tournament.
☀️ The girls had a great day of netball and fun in the sun. They displayed some fabulous teamwork and some great goals with the difficulty of the sun in their eyes. We’re very proud of this squad and wish those girls moving on to new school next year all the best with their netball…keep it up please.
🥰 Thank you to the staff at Moneyrea Primary School and Nursery for such a great day and for the yummy barbecue.

⚽️ It wasn’t our day at Londonderry Park, but how incredibly proud we are of each player on this team. They are credit to their families and us as a school.
💙 Each player played their heart out and they worked hard as a team. They have made huge progress this season and we are so proud of them all.
🥰 A massive thank you to all the parents and supporters for coming along to the match today and well done to Victoria Primary School on their victory.
