The video of Pen-y-Bryn's 2026 Year 6 show 'The Pirates of the Curry Bean’ (including the opening film and leavers song) is now available to order!

• The video will be made available via a google drive link.
• The link will be emailed to parents on 30/09.
• In order to be emailed a link please bring £5 in an envelope with your email address clearly written on the front to the school office by the end of September.

Please make sure to hand the envelope to a member of the office staff who will also take your name. Thanks! ✉️

A big hello to our new followers and starters at Ysgol Pen Y Bryn 👋🏼

What do the Friends of Ysgol Pen Y Bryn do?

We fundraise to provide extra resources, equipment and experiences for our children, as well as organising fun events that bring the school community together. 🎉

You can get involved as much or as little as you like — every bit of help makes a difference!

Our next meeting is our annual AGM on Monday 21st September, 7pm - Pen Y Bryn pub.

We hope to see you all there!

Thanks to the generosity of our families, staff, local businesses, volunteers and wider school community, we’ve raised an amazing £8,871.74!! 🎉 🎉

Every event, raffle ticket and donation has helped provide new resources, equipment and opportunities for our children.

We raised an amazing £4,413.52 🎉🎉🎉

We would like to say a special thank you to all of our amazing volunteers, all the wonderful local businesses who donated raffle prizes and to our brilliant teachers and children who helped with the planning, preparation and setting up of the day.

The time, effort and generosity from everyone involved made the Summer fair possible, and we are so grateful for the incredible support

All funds raised from our Summer Fair will go towards supporting Ysgol Pen Y Bryn and providing resources and opportunities for our children.

Thank you once again to everyone who supported us — we couldn’t have done it without you! 💙
