Which session will you be attending đź’š
‼️ PLEASE READ ‼️
This is a really hard post to write, but I want to be honest with you all.
Lately, bookings for the sensory room have become much quieter. I know the nicer weather plays a big part in that, and I completely understand families wanting to be outside and making the most of it. But if I’m being real, it’s also giving me a glimpse of what the coming summer months might look like… and that’s something I can’t ignore.
As much as I love this space and I truly, deeply do, it has to be financially sustainable to keep going. Right now, it’s getting to the point where I have to think about whether I can continue if the bookings don’t pick up. I can’t keep dipping into family savings that are meant for things like holidays and everyday life just to keep the doors open.
This has never just been “a business” to me. It’s something I’ve poured my heart into, something I know so many of you value and enjoy too. Seeing your little ones explore, relax, and thrive in the space means everything. But love alone isn’t enough to make it viable long-term.
Due to my partner’s work commitments and childcare, I’m limited in the hours I can open. I’m not able to extend into longer days or weekends to try and make up the difference. So the time I do have really needs to work.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be keeping a very close eye on how things go. I’m not making any immediate decisions, but I do need to be honest, if things don’t improve, I may have to make the difficult decision to close.
If this space means something to you, this is a bit of a “use it or lose it” moment. Whether that’s booking a session, telling a friend, or sharing the page it all makes a difference.
Thank you so much for all your support, kindness, and love so far. It truly hasn’t gone unnoticed.
Love Meg 🦋
