Our final assembly of the year! We celebrated class dojo winners and readers with gift vouchers and books.
Then, we said goodbye to Mrs Wiseman and Mrs Strickland.

We then wished Mr Thompson lots of luck for next term and look forward to seeing him when he is back in January.

Before the end of the year, as part of their Park Theme 'Community' outcome, our Year 2 children wanted to show their appreciation by creating and delivering thank you cards to some of our wonderful staff who work across the school but aren't always class-based. However, we sneakily made one for Mrs Wiseman too as it is her last week 😪

Dear Year 6 Parents and Carers,

We wanted to let you know that your child's Year 6 SATs results will be emailed to you today, so please keep an eye on your inbox.

We are incredibly proud of every one of our Year 6 children. They have shown determination, resilience and a fantastic work ethic throughout the year, and they should all be proud of the effort they have put into their learning.

As they prepare to move on to high school, we know they leave us with so much to celebrate. While we will miss them greatly, we are confident that they will continue to grow, thrive and achieve great success in the next stage of their education.

Although SATs results are an important milestone and it is wonderful when children achieve well, they only tell part of the story. They cannot measure kindness, creativity, curiosity, resilience, humour, teamwork, determination or the many other qualities that make each child unique. We know that our Year 6 children are so much more than a set of test results, and we hope they all take pride in everything they have accomplished this year.

Thank you for your continued support throughout your child's time at our school. We wish all of our Year 6 children every happiness and success as they begin their exciting next chapter.
