I opened Toddle In 20 years ago this January.

Over the years I have had the pleasure of being involved in the lives of many families, both staff and children and have met some lovely people, many of whom have become good friends.

It’s been a pleasure seeing how so many of our children have developed into amazing young people and adults and I feel privileged to have been a part of that.

However, in recent years I have experienced some extremely distressing personal issues and I have struggled to remain hands on at the nursery.

I’ve therefore made the difficult decision to move on from Toddle In and have passed over the ownership reigns to Mrs Goodwin (Charlotte).

Not only is she my closest friend of 40 years but also one of the best teachers I have ever worked with. With her 25+ year’s experience in teaching, specialising in special educational needs, I know that she will continue to take Toddle In forward into the future.

The current management team and staff will remain in place, working together to support Charlotte (our early years teacher of 8 years) in her new, extended role.

Thank you to everyone who has been involved with the nursery over the past 20 years - staff, children, families, agencies, students etc. Much love to you all 💜💛

We now have a holiday club rota for week commencing the 30th May. Please book as early as you can to avoid disappointment.

This week has been Jamaican Week. The children have explored the Jamaican traditions , made the flag and their own instruments. They have discovered the sea and are junk modelling desert islands! They also enjoyed a Jamaican Lunch! 💚💛
