I've had quite a few new starters over the last few months. Some absolute beginners, some with a little musical knowledge and some that can play a bit but feel they're stuck in a rut playing the same things.
Weve covered music by Queen, George Ezra, The Smiths, The Stone Roses, Queens Of The Stoneage, Iron Maiden, Metallica among many others. My policy is 'you choose the song, we learn it together'. This is a great way to work as the student is learning a song they love, which in turn will make them want to play it. (Meanwhile i explain the badic theory in that particular song, covering the chords, scales and technique.
So if you or anybody you know is interested in learning to play the guitar.. whether it be to be able to strum along with Oasis or play shredding solos by Metallica or Iron Maiden, give me a shout or pass on my information.

No that things are settling back to some sort of normality, holidays are over and kids back at school etc... I have a few empty spaces on monday, tuesday and thursday evenings up for grabs.
One to one guitar tuition for all ages, beginners and beyond. Acoustic/ electric, rhythm (chord work) and lead guitar.

Dont you just love it when one of your 12 year old students wants to spend ½ a lesson learning Highway To Hell by AC/DC and the other half learning Paint ait Black by The Rolling Stones!! My students have the best taste in good guitar rock n roll. The future has promise people :) ✊🏻☠
