🌍 Level 3 Travel & Tourism Field Trip 🌍

Our Level 3 Travel & Tourism students recently enjoyed an educational visit to two of Northern Ireland's most iconic attractions, the Giant's Causeway and Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge.

The trip provided students with the opportunity to explore world-class tourist destinations first-hand, gaining valuable insight into visitor attractions, tourism management, sustainability, and the importance of tourism to the local economy.

A brilliant day of learning outside the classroom while showcasing the very best of our local area! 🌊🍀

💙💛World Mental Health Day at Causeway Academy 💙💛

Over the last week, all students at Causeway Academy took part in assemblies to mark World Mental Health Day, providing an opportunity to reflect on the importance of looking after our mental health and wellbeing.

Throughout the assemblies, students explored a number of key messages:

🧠 Mental health is just as important as physical health

💬 It's okay to talk about how you're feeling

🤝 Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness

🌟 We all have a role to play in supporting one another

😊 Small actions such as kindness, gratitude and staying connected can make a big difference

❤️ No one should face challenges alone.

⭐️U14 Hockey Result⭐️

The U14 hockey team played their first match of the season against Ballymoney High this afternoon. A competitive first half saw Ballymoney score twice just before the break.

Despite a determined effort from our girls in the second half, Ballymoney's defence proved difficult to break down and they added two more goals to secure a 4-0 victory.

Well done to all the players for their determination and perseverance.
⭐️Player of the Match: Sophie T. 🏑👏
