𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐥𝐢𝐧 𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 💙

This year, the Fund will offer grants of up to £1,750 to young people aged 15-19 who would like to study or pursue a career in any of the three categories:

🎨 Creative arts
🎭 Performing arts
🎵 Music

𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝐹𝑢𝑛𝑑 𝑤𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑡𝑖𝑐𝑢𝑙𝑎𝑟𝑙𝑦 𝑤𝑒𝑙𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑖𝑛𝑛𝑜𝑣𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑒 𝑐𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑒 𝑎𝑟𝑡𝑠 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑗𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑠 (𝑖𝑛𝑐𝑙𝑢𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑒 𝑎𝑟𝑡𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑙𝑖𝑡𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑟𝑦 𝑎𝑟𝑡).

Over the last eighteen years the bursaries have supported 125 young people in a range of diverse activities, including:

📸 Assisting an aspiring young artist to attend Arts College in London for Art & Design & Photography
🎭 Funding a young girl for a Prosthetics & Special Effects Makeup summer school with a Hollywood artist
🩰 Assisting a local dancer hoping to work with the Birmingham Royal Ballet
🎭 Funding living costs in London for a National Youth Theatre summer production
🎻 Attending a 2-week residential cello course in Minnesota
🎶 Assisting a young girl to attend The Amy Geddis fiddle course in Scotland

Come & Sing with John Rutter! 🎶

We are thrilled to welcome the legendary John Rutter to St. Anne’s Cathedral, Belfast on Saturday 18th April 2026 at 3PM for a very special Come & Sing afternoon.

As Patron of the Festival, we are especially delighted to welcome John to Northern Ireland as we mark the 100th anniversary of Charles Wood’s death in 2026.

Whether you sing in a choir, in church, at school, or simply enjoy singing for pleasure – this is for you! No audition, no pressure, just a joyful afternoon of music-making led by one of the world’s most loved choral composers.

Music will be provided – just bring your voice!
