After a late night shift of cleaning, tidying and getting everything set up, I’m officially ready! ✨

Tomorrow marks my first 1:1 lessons back in my studio since going off on maternity leave last August… it feels SO good to be getting back to it! 🥹🤍

Looking forward to seeing some familiar & brand new faces... an exciting new term begins!

🎭 THE FIRST BE UNIQUE THEATRE MASTERCLASS IS NEXT SATURDAY! ✨

Are you ready to step ‘Inside the Character’?

Next Saturday (12 September), we’re launching the very first of our brand new Be Unique Theatre Masterclass Series - a brand new monthly training experience for young performers aged 7–19!

Our first masterclass is all about CHARACTER 🎭

✨ How do you bring a believable character to life on stage?
✨ How can your voice, movement and physicality transform a performance?
✨ And how do you create a character the audience can’t take their eyes off?

Through practical exercises, improvisation, scene work and performance, we’ll explore what it really takes to step into a character and perform it with confidence, commitment and creativity!

Ages 7–12: 10am–12pm
Ages 13–19: 12.30pm–2.30pm
📍 Unique Studio, New Row, Coleraine

✨ 17th October: The Art of Performance
📖 14th November: From Script to Stage
🎬 12th December: Audition Ready

£30 per Masterclass
Or £105 for all four, saving £15.

These sessions are designed to develop real acting technique, performance skills and confidence, while giving young performers the opportunity to challenge themselves and grow ahead of our 2026 Junior & Youth Theatre auditions. 🎭

It’s a question I was recently asked by a parent, and honestly, it came from a completely genuine place! ❤️

Productions are such an exciting part of what we do at Be Unique Theatre… BUT our masterclasses and workshops are where young performers build their skills, confidence and craft.

Then, when it’s time to step into a production, they have the opportunity to put that learning into practice. 🎭✨

If your child is aged 7–19 and would love to develop their acting and performance skills, we have upcoming Be Unique Theatre Masterclasses available, running from September - December in our studio in Coleraine.

✨ A VERY SPECIAL CHRISTMAS COLLABORATION… ✨

We are thrilled to officially announce that Be Unique Theatre will be collaborating with Glenarm Castle this Christmas! 🎄🏰 Glenarm Castle

Christmas at Glenarm Castle has become an iconic part of the festive season in Northern Ireland, with its magical Christmas experience loved by families for many years. For Be Unique Theatre to be a part of that this year is a real privilege - we are incredibly proud and excited to be involved!

We’ll be creating a brand new immersive storytelling experience at Glenarm Castle, filled with storytelling, music, fun, and plenty of festive magic. ✨

And with that, we are now looking for two experienced professional actors to join us and help bring this magical experience to life!

🎅 MRS CLAUS
Playing age: 40-60
Kind, warm and engaging, with excellent storytelling skills and the ability to captivate audiences of all ages.

🧝 ELF
Playing age: 20–35
Mischievous, fun, playful and engaging, with experience in physical theatre and a strong ability to interact with audiences.

We’re looking for confident, versatile professional performers who can fully embody their characters, think on their feet and create magical moments for every family they meet!

📅 Contract includes:
• Promotional photoshoot/video shoot day at Glenarm in mid September upon being cast
• 2 days of rehearsals on 25 and 26 November in our studio in Coleraine
• 1.5 days of on-site rehearsal and preparation at Glenarm across Friday 27 November and Monday 30 November
• 15 performance nights across 3 weeks in December (Wednesday - Sundays from 2-20 December)

🌟 This is a PROFESSIONALLY PAID CONTRACT, offering highly competitive rates that reflect the experience and commitment required.

What a night. Well done to our amazing cast! ❤️

So incredibly proud of everything they achieved in such a short space of time!

But for us, it’s about so much more than the final performance. It’s the friendships they make, the laughs they share throughout the week, the excitement buzzing backstage before the show and seeing just how much they enjoy every moment of the journey. 🎭✨

That is why we do what we do.

These young performers have worked SO hard over the past few days, and we couldn’t be prouder of them! 🎭❤️

They’ve learned their lines, perfected their characters, danced their socks off, laughed, worked as a team and given it their absolute all!

And now… it’s nearly time to take their final bow! 👏✨
