🌟 Our Nursery Moving Up Ceremony 2026 🌟

This year we celebrated a very special milestone as we said goodbye to our wonderful Nursery children at their Moving Up Ceremony. 🎓💙

We welcomed parents and family members to share in this memorable occasion as we celebrated everything our children have achieved throughout the year. The boys and girls delighted everyone with their fantastic singing, performing with confidence, enthusiasm and lots of big smiles! 🎶✨

Each child received a certificate and a special gift to mark the end of their Nursery journey and to celebrate the exciting adventure ahead as they prepare to begin Primary 1.

We are very proud of how they have grown in confidence and independence during their year at ISNU.

As our Nursery leavers take their next big step, we are confident they will have every happiness and success in Primary 1. We know they will continue to shine brightly. ⭐

🎉What a year for our P7 Class of 2026! 🎉

From an unforgettable trip to London and adventures in Ballyholme, to fantastic success at the Coleraine Speech & Drama and Music Festival, this year has been packed with memories and achievements.

Our children have excelled academically, performed to audiences of more than 600 people in our spectacular Peter Pan production, and celebrated some outstanding sporting successes along the way.

We rounded off our final days together in style with pizza parties, visits from the ice cream van, and of course our Leavers’ Assembly – an emotional occasion that left very few dry eyes in the hall.

Class of 2026, thank you for an amazing year. We wish you every success and happiness as you begin your next chapter. 🌟

🌟 Being Well, Doing Well School 🌟

We are delighted to share that our school has been officially recognised as a Being Well, Doing Well School—an important accreditation that reflects our ongoing commitment to the wellbeing of every child, member of staff and our wider school community.

This recognition highlights the positive ethos we work hard to foster each day, where children feel safe, valued and supported to flourish both academically and emotionally.

The Education Authority’s Being Well, Doing Well programme supports schools across Northern Ireland to place wellbeing at the heart of school life. It encourages a whole-school approach, focusing on areas such as positive relationships, emotional health, resilience and creating inclusive environments where everyone can succeed.

Thank you to Mrs Friel and her well-being team who have played a valuable part in this achievement!

🏅🏃🏃‍♂️Sports Day 2026🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🏅

On Wednesday we held our annual KS2 Sports Day. Thanks to staff, parents and our wonderful children for a fantastic day. Music, dancing, DJing, flag waving and lots of running. We fought off the rain to complete most of the races. Now it’s over to FS/KS1 for their Sports Day on Tuesday.

✨What a magical performance of Peter Pan!✨

We are incredibly proud of our wonderfully talented children who took to the stage with such confidence and enthusiasm in their play, Peter Pan.

Every performance was outstanding, from the acting and singing to the teamwork and smiles that truly brought Neverland to life. 🌟

A huge thank you to Mr Robinson and Mrs Friel, whose dedication, encouragement and hard work made this play such a success.

We are also very grateful to all the staff who supported and inspired the children along the way – your impact truly shone through in their performances.

Well done to our talented stars – you were absolutely amazing, you were excellent! 👏✨

⚽ Coleraine & District PSFA Year 4/5 Tournament Winners 2026 ⚽

An outstanding tournament for the boys, finishing runners-up in the group stages before an impressive knockout run. Victories over Portrush PS in the quarter-final and Harpur’s Hill PS in the semi-final set up a thrilling final against a very strong Carnalridge PS side.

A superb team performance saw the boys claim a deserved 3–1 win in the final, with excellent individual displays from everyone involved.

👏 Huge thanks to Mr Mairs for coaching the team.

🌟 The future is certainly bright for this talented group!
