Calling all runners (or long since ex-runners...as walkers are welcome too)!

To mark the 10yr anniversary of Coleraine Grammar School there is a 5K run on Friday 13th June at the Ballycairn Road Playing Fields at 7.30pm (registration from 5.30pm).

CHS Old Girls' Association are sponsoring the "Old Girl" trophy. The fastest Old Girl will receive this trophy to keep forever.

Dust off your running shoes and enter (see link below). All proceeds going towards the new AstroTurf hockey pitch for the girls.

On Saturday 31st May we had over 200 ladies attend our End of an Era Reunion Dinner. What a fabulous night we all had!

Thanks to Nicky Smyth and Mrs Anne Bell for being our guest speakers. Nicky reminding us of many hilarious stories and memories from boarding at CHS from a young age to ending up teaching there from her early 20s until she retired.

Mrs Bell reminded us of the importance and long lasting impact of our school days and the connections we made then, the friendships and values which we shared.

A poignant rendition of the school song ended the proceedings but there were still many conversations going on in the room among the past pupils who had attended CHS during the decades from the 1950s, right up to 2015.

End of an Era Reunion Dinner - Saturday 31st May 2025

We were just wanting to let you know that it is now 10 years since Coleraine High School officially closed and the new school, Coleraine Grammar School was founded.

The final closure of the Lodge Road site in 2024 was another reminder for many of their history at CHS and the OGA was asked about organising a reunion dinner, something which we had hosted annually until Covid 19 prevented our 2020 get-together.

Traditionally we organised reunions for year groups celebrating 10, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55 or more years since they left CHS, but you may have missed one of those milestones since 2019.

So, by popular demand, as a one off, End of an Era event, we have again booked the Lodge Hotel for a reunion dinner on Saturday 31 May 2025 and would be delighted if as many of our past pupils and former teachers as possible could arrange to join us for a 3-course dinner, with drinks reception in Coleraine and make the time to meet up with fellow classmates and reminisce about the good old days at Lodge Road.

We will take bookings via our website – https://www.colerainehigh.co.uk/reunion-dinner and would ask you to indicate the year you left CHS (or when you would have left school if you stayed on for A levels), so that we can seat you with those from your era.
