GCSE Results Day 2026
Pupils at Coleraine Grammar School celebrated outstanding GCSE results on Thursday 20th August. There was a great atmosphere in the Humphreys Hall as pupils, accompanied by proud families and staff, opened their results envelopes and marked the culmination of two years of hard work and dedication.
An impressive 92.5% of pupils achieved at least seven A*-C grades (full course or equivalent), including English and mathematics. Of these, 24 pupils attained at least seven A or A* grades across their GCSE subjects.
Congratulations go to two exceptional pupils who were awarded ten A* grades, while a further four pupils achieved the remarkable feat of securing ten A or A* grades in their full course or equivalent subjects.
Dr Carruthers, Headmaster, praised the commitment and perseverance shown by the year group.
"This cohort has worked diligently throughout their five years at Coleraine Grammar School to achieve these excellent results. They can now move on to the next stage of their educational journey with confidence, knowing that they have given their very best.
We are exceptionally proud of all the personal achievements celebrated today and would like to thank the parents and carers who have worked alongside our staff in supporting our young people to achieve the best possible outcomes."
These results are a testament to the hard work, resilience and ambition of our pupils, supported by dedicated staff and families. We congratulate all of our GCSE pupils on their achievements and look forward to seeing them continue to flourish as they embark on the next stage of their education at Coleraine Grammar School.
