As we begin a new school year, we do so with both gratitude and a sense of sadness as we say farewell to two much-loved members of our St. Malachy's family.
After many years of dedicated service, Mrs Flynn, our wonderful P1 teacher, and Mrs Moffett, our caring and committed classroom assistant, have retired from their roles within our school.
Throughout their years at St. Malachy's, they have touched the lives of countless children and families through their kindness, dedication and unwavering commitment to nurturing and supporting every child in their care. Their presence will be greatly missed by pupils, parents and colleagues alike.
We thank Mrs Flynn and Mrs Moffett for everything they have given to St. Malachy's and wish them every happiness, good health and success as they begin this exciting new chapter. While they may be leaving their daily roles in school, they will always remain a special part of our school family.

As a new school year begins, we are thinking of our wonderful P7 pupils from last year as they start the next stage of their learning journey in their new schools.
We already miss their smiles, laughter and unique personalities, but we are so proud of all they have achieved. We wish each and every one of them the very best of luck and every success in the exciting years ahead.
Remember, you will always be part of the St. Malachy's family.

🌞 What an AMAZING week we've had at North Coast Summer School! 🌈🎉

We've packed so much into the week and had an absolute blast!

The children got stuck into making clay keyrings, creating beautiful oil pastel artwork, tie-dyeing T-shirts, painting, chalk art and lots of fun drama games. There was plenty of action too with golf, basketball, soccer, Gaelic football, volleyball and, to top it all off, an epic water fight! 💦⚽🏀🏐🎨

A massive thank you to Richard/Mr. Carey for selecting St. Malachy’s as a location for a full
Filled week.

A warm thanks to Coach Greg for another fantastic week of sports and games, and to Mr Keys for delivering brilliant arts, crafts and drama sessions that the children loved.

A special shout-out also goes to our incredible assistants, Conor, Melissa, Patrick, Charles, Faye and Riona. Your energy, support and enthusiasm made such a difference, and we couldn't have done it without you! 💙

Most importantly, thank you to all of our amazing children for bringing the fun, laughter and smiles every single day. We hope you all have a brilliant summer! ☀️🙌
