It is with an extremely heavy heart that we have decided to close Sunnyside’s doors for the final time on Wednesday 31st January 2024.
Unfortunately due to the lack in numbers attending, cost of living, increased utilities and lack of government available funding we have struggled for the last few months.
We tried every which way to make it work for our sunnyside family including changing to a community interest company to gain funding.
We are so sorry for such short notice but January has been a particularly quiet month, the staff were only informed this evening that they will not have a job past Wednesday.
Please ensure any invoices are paid up to date as soon as possible so we can close and pay the staffs wages etc.
We have loved and will cherish all the great times we’ve had in Sunnyside over the past two and a half years and every last child we have cared for.
We would like to thank you for supporting Sunnyside and putting the trust in us to care for your children.
It’s been a pleasure.
