In the final video from our HomesNI Coleraine series, we visited one of the town’s true landmarks — Moores of Coleraine.

This family-owned independent department store has been serving customers from the North Coast and beyond for more than 100 years.

We met with store manager Simon, who told us more about this fantastic destination store and the huge range of well-known brands available across fashion, home and more.

And if all that shopping works up an appetite, Moores also has two in-house restaurants — The Gallery Restaurant and Cafe M — where you can enjoy everything from a full meal to a coffee and a treat.

We hope you’ve enjoyed our Coleraine series and discovering some of the brilliant businesses that help make the town what it is.

HomesNI met Glenn from Pear Tree in Coleraine, which he owns and runs alongside Adam.

For more than 8 years, Pear Tree has been serving the people of Coleraine with everything from lovely brunches, frys and freshly made sandwiches to great coffee and plenty more.

The support from the local community has been so strong that they have since opened a second café in the town centre, The Orchard, which focuses on home-style cooking and also serves the beautiful Morelli’s ice cream.

Their menus are far too extensive to list here, but whether you’re after breakfast, lunch, coffee, something sweet or just a break from shopping, there’s a good chance you’ll find something you like.

Next time you’re in Coleraine town centre, make sure to call in and see them.

HomesNI met Michael Devine from Chill Foodhall in Coleraine.

This year marks 15 years of Chill Foodhall in Coleraine, offering a huge range of quality ready meals that are produced in-house at their own factory just outside the town.

It really is one of those places you have to visit for yourself to see the range, quality and value on offer.

Chill Foodhall was also named Retailer of the Year at the Causeway Coast and Glens Business Awards 2025, and they are proud members of Coleraine Connect, helping to support and promote businesses across the town.

We’d also like to personally thank Michael for his help in arranging our other Coleraine community videos. It was clear from speaking with him just how much he values the local area and supports the wider Coleraine business community.

HomesNI met Dan Henry from Bensons Estate Agents in Coleraine.

Bensons is a long-standing family business, with roots going back to 1969, when Dan’s father founded Daniel Henry Estate Agents. Today, the business trades as Bensons and continues to serve buyers and sellers across the Coleraine area.

While residential property is a major part of what they do, Bensons also specialises in agricultural and commercial property.
