Are you a female UU student aged between 18-25 years old? We invite you to participate in a project about period pain in young women, how they cope with their pain, how effective this coping is and the treatment they undertake to manage their pain. Period pain is a painful experience for many, and we need to learn how to advise young women on coping with it. Freya is back for 2023! We are a society celebrating all things spiritual, pagan and witchy 🌕✨🔮 We plan to have weekly meet-ups and future events (keep a look out for a Halloween one! 😉) We will also be posting information surrounding Paganism and witchcraft such as Tarot readings, the pagan calendar and spell tips 🌝🧿 Come see us at the Freshers Fair in the Coleraine Campus this Wednesday to find out more, looking forward to meeting yous!

🌟 SOCIETY SPOTLIGHT - COLERAINE 🌟

Freya is the pagan & spiritualist society on the Coleraine Campus. We welcome everyone whether you have an interest in crystals, manifestation or tarot or you practise a pagan religion or follow Wicca 😊

We run weekly meetings which are a safe space to chat about anything from upcoming celebrations or about your mental health.
We're online for semester one, but we will be looking into in person meetings during semester 2 & hope to get the chance to help our members make friends with similar interests 😊

Blessed Samhain!🎃

Samhain (pronounced So-ween) is a pagan harvest festival and one of the major sabbats during the year. It focuses on the final harvest before moving into the winter months. It's also celebrated as the Pagan New Year by some💜

During Samhain, it's believed the veil between this world and the afterlife is at its thinnest so it's the perfect time for divination like Tarot or holding a mute dinner for your ancestors🔮

If you're having a low energy Samhain, even doing something like pumpkin carving or cooking with apple works as an activity! Or going for a nature walk to notice the changing seasons🍂

However you're celebrating the sabbat we hope you have a safe and wonderful time!😁
