What a lovely end to the week,
Years 5&6 got to watch a movie with some treats yesterday afternoon and years 3&4 got to watch a movie with some treats this afternoon.

A well deserved treat from all the Hazelmere Junior School staff members, for the children being so good during the recent ofsted inspection. They all behaved beautifuly and didn't let any disruption bother them.

Thank you to some who have brought donations in already!💕

We're really hoping to be able to support our local community as much as we can, every little item makes a difference 🥰
All donations should be taken in by Monday 12th October 💕

As part of our Harvest Festival celebrations we are taking part in a ‘Fill the Van’ event. We hope you can all help us by collecting food donations to support Colchester Foodbank and help local families in need. 💕

We would be very grateful for any donation you are able to make.

Please, if you can help us, donate any of the following non-perishable foods:
✨️Tinned food (vegetables, soup, beans, fruit, meat, etc.)
✨️Pasta/rice
✨️Instant mashed potato
✨️Couscous
✨️Breakfast cereal
✨️UHT milk
✨️Fruit juice (Longlife not fresh, chilled juice)
✨️Jam
✨️Tea bags
✨️Coffee
✨️Squash
✨️Biscuits
✨️Toiletries or Personal Hygiene items (Toothpaste/ toothbrushes/shower gel/ shampoo/ soap/ deodorant.
✨️Toilet Rolls and tissues.
✨️Disposable nappies / baby wipes / jars of baby food.
✨️Washing up liquid / washing powder

🚫PLEASE DO NOT DONATE FRESH OR FROZEN FOOD, OPENED FOOD, ALCOHOL OR FOOD PAST ITS USE BY DATE AS THE FOOD BANK ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT THESE ITEMS.🚫

Please bring all donations into school by Monday 12th October and give them directly to your class teacher.

We are looking for 10 new volunteers to help us run the PTA successfully 🎉
We have a great time, lots of laughs, and we arrange some amazing events and activities for the lovely children of Hazelmere Junior School.

If this sounds like something you want to do, but aren't sure on being a full time member, then don't worry, we also are looking for 10 volunteers to help keep the activities running. Whether that is running a stall at an event, helping to hand out prizes, sorting out the playlist for a party or helping us to decorate and set up for an event.
