What a fabulous summer ☀️ we've had.

We hope those children who have started school or back to school are enjoying the new term. Thank you to those who have shared pictures of first days, it means a lot 💗 we will miss them.

Julie and I are very grateful for all of our leaving gifts and cards.

We look forward to welcoming new little ones for the new term starting for us on Monday 7th September, also to welcome back the rest of the children, we look forward to hearing all about your summer holiday adventures.

If anybody happens to go to the seaside over the holidays please remember us and collect any large shells 🐚 for us to use in the setting.
Thank you 😊

At ClaireyPoppins we reflect on the day and share our "best bit" of the day whilst sitting together and having afternoon snack.
It's only early in the day but I want to share my best bit with you......
On school run this morning one of my school children handed me flowers, yes it is lovely to receive gifts of kindness at the end of term but it wasn't about the gift but more what the child said " here you are Claire, your favourite, Gladiolus"
He remembered the name of the flower while we were doing flower arranging a few weeks ago, he also remembered me saying how much I love the gladiolus. How lovely is that.

Thank you for all who came.

Can you tell we are spending more time in the garden enjoying the nice weather!
I would also like a few tins please.
I want to make the garden inviting for the children and create nice learning opportunities at the same time.

Please can anybody kindly donate any shoe boxes or pringles tubes they no longer need. I want to use them for childminding.
Do note I'm not asking you to go out and buy pringles but the paprika ones are good! 😆
