The usual requirement of one workplace will soon double and trainee teachers will be required to work from multiple workplaces.

Additionally to the standard pre-requisites and experience required, applicants will also be required to hold a Level 2 qualification in maths and English alongside a necessary level of competence in digital skills and education technology.

Requirement for two support staff at work placements.

Trainee teachers will be required to be in the workplace for a minimum of 18 months in order to gain experience rather than the current duration of approximately 6 months.
๐ ๐๐ฃ๐๐ง๐๐๐จ๐๐ ๐ค๐๐จ๐๐ง๐ซ๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ๐จ
A minimum requirement for 10 observations to a minimum of 10 learners rather than a current 8 observations to 5/6 learners!
