The pumpkin cafe 🎃
Today, our natural area became a wonderful café where imagination and curiosity came alive!
The children loved using clipboards to take orders preparing teas, coffees, hot chocolates, and vegetable soups for one another.
Hands-on, messy play in our natural area gives children the freedom to explore and support their early development skills.
⭐️Physical Development:
The children developed their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination through scooping, pouring water, stirring, and using knives/tools to cut vegetables safely.
⭐ Personal, Social & Emotional Development:
The children practiced essential social skills through collaborative play, sharing equipment, and taking turns in different roles.
⭐️Mathematics:
The children explored early maths skills , using measuring jugs, counting out orders, and using rich mathematical vocabulary like full, half-full, more, and less.
We had the absolute best time learning and creating together.
