With Chris Packham – I just got recognised as one of their top fans! 🎉
I am currently attending the National Autistic Society’s Annual Conference with an overarching focus on: ‘ rethinking support with neuro inclusivity and neuro affirming practice’. With an introduction by Chris Packham - so personal and heartfelt.
I have already been inspired and had my own thoughts, feelings and opinions confirmed which leads to a renewed sense of purpose and confidence. A particular talk with Psychiatrist Dr Khurrham Sadiq on AuDHD has really resonated with me. It is not a dual diagnosis of 2 conditions but as a separate diagnosis with 3 different presentations.
Dr Sadiq described AuDHD as ‘consistently inconsistent’. Does that resonate with you?
Inspiring, renewing and much-needed.
National Autistic Society.

This is so worth remembering…a lifetime of this feeling can really impact the perception someone has of themselves. Shame, anxiety, low self-esteem and just a general feeling of not being ‘good enough’ can impact heavily. 😌

Wow! I had a lovely surprise left on my doorstep! Beautiful flowers from a very grateful student! They were a pleasure to work with, worked hard, made huge progress and passed their GCSE maths exams. That’s one aspect of why I love my work!
