We’re looking back on our wonderful Prize Giving ceremonies with great pride. Our Senior School orchestra and choir helped set the tone for the Senior School’s celebrations with a powerful performance of Sia’s ‘Unstoppable’. It was a wonderful moment for our proud families, who gathered to celebrate their daughters’ achievements and the many special moments from the year. A fitting soundtrack to celebrate everything our pupils have accomplished!

St Mary’s provides an enlightened, empowering and complete education, designed specifically for girls age 4-16 to thrive.
We hope all our St Mary’s families are enjoying a wonderful summer break!
We’re taking a moment to look back at some of the highlights from the end of term and what better way than with this beautiful performance from our Senior School Music on the Meadow event! Tilly in Year 7 performed the much-loved ‘Colours of the Wind’ from Disney’s Pocahontas as part of this special afternoon of music and sunshine.

We are delighted to celebrate the achievements of two talented pupils in the equestrian world. Scarlett in Year 8 was selected to represent the Essex Farmers Pony Club Area Showjumping Team in Norfolk and, following an outstanding performance, helped her team qualify for the Regional Finals this August.
Meanwhile, Arya in Year 7 competed in the International Horse Show Qualifiers at the Kent County Show, securing an impressive 4th place against strong competition.
These fantastic accomplishments are a testament to both pupils’ hard work, dedication and talent. Congratulations to them both on their success!

Our Year 11 Leavers’ Prom was a truly special evening, as pupils gathered in the beautiful marquee on the Lower School grounds to celebrate the end of their St Mary’s journey.
Filled with laughter, friendship and plenty of memorable moments, the evening was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on all they have achieved together and to mark this important milestone before the next stage of their education.
We are incredibly proud of this remarkable group of young women and all they have accomplished during their time at St Mary’s. We wish them every success and happiness for the future as they embark on exciting new adventures.

After weeks of preparation, our Year 5 girls took part in the Live Dance for Rights event, hosted by the Royal Ballet and Opera at the end of term. Joining thousands of pupils across the country, they participated in a live mass dance experience led by professional artists.
Through dance, the girls explored important themes including fairness, community and the rights of every child, building confidence, empathy and understanding along the way. We are so proud of their enthusiasm and engagement in this inspiring national event.
What a wonderful way to celebrate the end of another successful year at St Mary’s. Our Prize Giving Ceremonies brought together pupils, families and staff to recognise the achievements, dedication and growth of our Kindergarten, Lower School and Senior School pupils. Congratulations to all of our prize winners, and to every pupil who has embraced opportunities and contributed to school life this year. We are incredibly proud of all that you have accomplished. Enjoy this special performance from our Senior School Chamber Choir of (Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher & Higher – a fitting soundtrack to a year full of achievement, friendship and celebration.

Year 3 enjoyed a fantastic day at Highwoods Country Park as part of their Science topic on plants. From nature walks and forest crafts to learning how to make fire with flint and toasting marshmallows, there was plenty to discover! The highlight of the day was pond dipping and spotting lots of baby newts. What a wonderful outdoor learning experience!
