Thurstable School in Tiptree are looking for donations towards a new sensory well being garden for their students. If there are any local contractors with spare timber sleepers that could be used to form raised planters, topsoil to fill with, large tree pots 35L + that could be used for planting as well they would appreciate them.

Front garden is looking a riot of colour! Brilliant pink of Gaura Bellaza Dark pink, Penstemon Wendy’s wish with its wonderful calyx, Sedum turning nicely to burgundy, Veronicastrum Fascination living up to its name and evergreen Agapanthus.

A couple of days catching up with last year’s summer planting for this project and planting up the next phase. Fantastic display of tulips coming in waves after the earlier daffodils and crocuses and next to come a variety of alliums.

bloomin’ amazing Lemonoptia cake! So two lots of filo pastry that you deliberately dry out 😳😱 followed by boiled lemons mixed with yoghurt umpteen eggs and olive oil - not the best sounding concoction but Oh My!!!!!!! Is it delicious.

Well it maybe Valentines Day today and traditionally a day of red roses, but have you noticed that the first hints of spring are showing through?! Crocus, Snowdrops and the very earliest of Daffodils are all beginning to burst forth.

Now is also a great time yo contemplate that garden make over, perhaps a corner that needs a new approach to planting, or the whole lot. Whether you want to do it yourself but don’t know where to start or want to plant, or to let the guys, and gals, with the machines do it all for you I can help.
