Primary school applications open next week.
If your child is due to start Reception Class in September 2026, the Primary School applications will open in one weeks’ time on Monday 10th November!
Talk, Listen, Cuddle have joined up with Emily, a SEND Engagement Facilitator in Essex and a mummy of two. Emily is going to talk through the primary school application process, from visiting the schools, applying online and things she is doing at home with her daughter to support the transition. Our caterpillars have enjoyed our autumn sensory tray with coloured rice, scoops and pumpkins we practiced our fine motor skills, hand eye co-ordination and different textures as we read that's not my fox.

Our little bakers had a spook-tacular time making Halloween cupcakes today! 🧁👻 From gooey frosting to spooky sprinkles, every cupcake was full of creativity (and a little bit of magic!). 🧙♀️✨

This past week the butterfly children have had fun exploring Halloween with sensory potions, pumpkins, cobwebs and spiders. The children have used a wide range of language to describe the smells, textures and colours. We hope you all have a lovely half term 🎃🎃

We have all had an exciting time settling back into our Pre-School routines welcoming back lots of families and getting to know our new families. We have begun to explore the start of Autumn time collecting leaves and looking at the colour changes as they fall off the trees. The caterpillars enjoyed collecting some Autumn leaves to then create our own tree. The children used lots of language in this activity from single words to sentences to talk about the colours, textures, and size of our leaves.
