Great work everyone, a solid and very hot training session tonight, hope you all enjoy the football.

Juniors, some of you still have events to train for.
Seniors, let's have a solid workout and maybe finish a slightly earlier for the football.

Well done to the Colchester area gang, who competed in Heacham today at the area championships. There was some great Judo on display and everyone fought brilliantly.

Please remember the following
- Licence WHICH MUST HAVE A PHOTO IN
- White Judogi (girls must wear a white T-shirt underneath)
- Hair tied up and away from the collar, no metal or plastic clips
- Nails trimmed
- Off mat footwear
- Drinks bottle for mat side

Registration and weigh in 9.00am
The competition will be run under AJA rules.
Between FDJC and CJC we have a few entries, we will be there to support you, but under the area rules there will be no matside coaching

Well done juniors, a great session taken by Dan Cross continuing on from last weeks uke goshi, with a contingency throw of O uchi gari, we then briefly worked on a mune gatame and some basic newaza techniques, finishing off with some solid randori.
Well done Thomas and Tammy for Judokas of the night.

A great senior session too, taken by Chris Jakens he followed on from his brilliant session last week, building on the twitch and everything that goes with it, then on to a guard control technique, then no session would be complete without newaza and randori.

A brilliant silver for Chris today at the Thetford fours, narrowly missing out on gold after a 9 minute contest. Well done Chris.

A wonderful junior session taken by Chris D, working on Uke Goshi, using the floss of all things, the juniors really picked it up and executed some big throws, then we had plenty of newaza and randori. Well done to Oliver and Matthew for Judokas of the night.

A very sweaty senior session taken by Chris J, lots of uchikomi, in groups of 4s and non stop movements from the whole group, we then built on a lovely combination that everyone can work on for themselves, then newaza and loads of randori.
